Moto & The Bandit

Moto (aka “Bread Loaf”) started her life with Jolly Good in 2014 working with volunteers at the Squamish Motorcycle Festival and later that year, was a founding member of UBC’s first ever Move UBC Dog Walk. Originally from the Merritt area, she is grateful to Angel’s Animal Rescue for saving her from spending life on a chain. She enjoys good belly rubs, covering everything in her hair, giving people wet willies with her spectacularly long tongue, eating anything she can find and of course, barking hello to strangers.

Bandit (aka “Bandito”) joined the Jolly Good family in 2020, just a few weeks before the pandemic, so she immediately became a key member of the team. She hails from northern Manitoba, but thanks to the Endless Pawabilities Society, was spared the cold winters there. She came to BC disguised as a dark grey, very fuzzy looking Akita mix, but within six months, we discovered after her first grooming that she was in fact a Doodle mix underneath. Bandit enjoys stealing toys from Moto, as well as cuddling with Moto and finding the deepest, most disgusting puddles in order to embed mud into her fur as a gift to her family.
